“Princess Zamunda: The White Man’s God is Faithful”: an impactful story on the transformation that took place in dark villages. “Princess Zamunda: The White Man’s God is Faithful” is the creation of published author, Princess Joan, a writer from Manhattan, New York, whose works are intended for both adults and children.
Princess Joan shares the following from her book, “‘Ask Jesus, and he will answer.’ These words filled Zamunda’s heart with hope, and she realized that she could not wait to see the pastor again. The next week, Zamunda returned to church with her friend, and this time, she listened to the pastor’s sermon. But she could not make sense of the words.
“Why are these people such fools? Every day, they pray to someone they cannot see, she thought. Back in my village, we could see our gods. The village priest showed us the gods on the tree. When white men came to the village and talked about Jesus, my parents made fun of them. Now here I am, listening to the same Jesus story. It is all nonsense.”
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Princess Joan’s new book is the gripping story of Princess Zamunda’s encounter with the Lord through two missionaries who have preached the Word of God in their village even if there is a rule that doing so is not allowed there, and it will lead to being thrown out from the place.
God’s faithfulness is a major theme in Joan’s touching narrative of how the Lord touches the hearts of those who have struggles and dark past lives. Missionaries and anyone who go out to share who Jesus is to others are also commended for leaving their comfort zones for God’s glory.
