Southside Yountville Opens at Stewart Cellars

Stewart Cellars announced today that the popular Napa-based Southside Cafe has opened a second coffee house and eatery at the Stewart Cellars property in Yountville (located at 6752 Washington St.). Southside owners, Morgan and Irma Robinson, will continue to serve real California cuisine with a Latin influence from the new Southside Yountville at Stewart Cellars. The new cafe will be similar to their Napa location with exciting new additions and grab and go options. In addition, the Robinsons and their catering company, SMOKE Open Fire Cooking, have partnered with the Stewart Family to host custom food and wine pairings and events on the Stewart Cellars property.

“Stewart Cellars is an absolutely stunning property with a laid back, yet luxurious vibe,” said Irma Robinson, co-owner of Southside. “We are very excited to partner with them on this endeavor.”

Opened in May 2016, Southside Cafe is a popular destination for Napa Valley locals and visitors, alike. Southside Yountville at Stewart Cellars is now open 7 days a week from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m., serving breakfast, lunch and to-go cafe items. A few of the breakfast menu items include breakfast sandwiches with shishito peppers and chipotle crema, strawberry or caramelized apple toasts, avocado toast, house made granola, superfood breakfast bowls, and biscuits and gravy. Lunch menu items include an open-faced mushroom torta, Croque Senora, carne asada tortas, various heirloom salads, and entrees like the Southside protein bowl and albacore tostadas. The menu features a kids’ menu as well. Southside Yountville at Stewart Cellars will be housed at the front of the Stewart Cellars property where the Stewarts’ Gather Cafe used to sit.

In addition, the Stewarts and the Robinsons will partner throughout the year to bring custom food and wine pairings, as well as events that will be custom catered by the Robinson’s business, SMOKE. The NOMAD Heritage Library at Stewart Cellars is the perfect location to host private gatherings and wine tastings combined with the Robinson’s inventive menus. A luxe wine tasting space with a bohemian vibe, the NOMAD library opens up to a private covered outdoor terrace with an oversize wood burning stove and views of the heritage oak tree. Stewart Cellars is a one-of-a-kind Napa Valley destination that was inspired by an ancient Scottish abbey, a nod to the Stewart family heritage. Set back from the main street in Yountville, the Stewart Cellars property emanates the look and feel of ancient stone buildings.
