Lin Reeves-Spencer, a devoted writer and author, has completed her new book “The Third Testament – A Woman’s Testimony with Mankind: Diamonds in the Grass – Book One”: a gripping journey that clarifies and melds confusion to understand one’s life path.
Author Reeves-Spencer speaks of releasing one’s fears, as they are untruths to one’s psyche: “As I sat on the concrete bench, my vision wandered. Caught off guard, I was paralyzed by sudden fear when, out of nowhere, a huge bird swooped down. Even today, influenced by divine guidance, the etched memory reclaims this apparition. At first this powerful source frightened me. They appeared as the mightiest bird of the sky, a bald eagle. I, scurrying for safety, sat huddled underneath the sturdy bench, as they began squawking at me in the most profound voice! Stationed in the form of the eagle’s widespread wings, they held me in thrall, providing protection, perhaps, of a small one in harm’s way. They had come to save this child by awakening me to awareness of my being. Moments later, when they were certain that I had received and accepted their message, the eagle landed briefly upon the bench then flew away!”
