The couple have finally set their wedding date after the 28-year-old sportsman popped the question with a huge sparkling diamond on New Year’s Eve 2011. LeBron James and his girlfriend of nine years Savannah Brinson were said to send out their “Save The Weekend” cards, telling friends and family to block out the weekend of September 13 – 15. The invitation card said that the duo’s nuptials will take place in San Diego, a lovely U.S. city with many breathtaking locales for a wedding. The note also features a cartoon of LeBron James, Savannah Brinson and their two children dressed up and piloting a plane to their wedding.

The loved-up pair showed up together at the Miami Heat’s Motown Revue in Coral Gables, Florida, where the Heat players challenged their wives and girlfriends to a dance contest for charity.
