Kip Moore gets rowdy with fans at sunset – Orange County Register

When Kip Moore turns his snapback hat backwards, he means business.  The 37-year-old singer-songwriter was ready to get wild during his Mane Stage performance at the Stagecoach Country Music Festival in Indio on Saturday.

Going on at sunset, just as Mother Nature provided her own breathtaking light show painting the sky various shades of pink, purple and orange, Moore kicked off his set with “Wild Ones.” Fans flooded into the front-of-stage corral and roared along to his hit “Beer Money” and a countrified cover of Jimmy Eat World’s “The Middle.”

“I love being here,” Moore said during an interview in the backstage artist compound before his turn. “It’s one of those festivals that there’s so much hype around it that you find the different kind of energy in the crowd so I’m stoked to be back.”

Moore made his Stagecoach debut back in 2015, performing on the first night of the fest on the Mane Stage just before Jake Owen and headliner Tim McGraw.
