HAYSTACKID Announces Medalist Sponsorship Of CVLS Race Judicata® 2017

Haystack Information Discovery (“HAYSTACKID”), a global end-to-end litigation support and managed legal services provider, today announced its Medalist Sponsorship of Race Judicata®, which will take place on September 14th in Chicago, Illinois.

Now in its 23rd year, Race Judicata® 2017 will include a 5k run/walk, and raise funds and awareness to support the missions and objectives of the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (“CVLS”) Foundation. CVLS is a vital community resource, championing the legal rights of Chicago’s poor and working poor through advocacy, direct assistance, and other philanthropic activities.

“HAYSTACKID’s ongoing support of Race Judicata® goes well beyond the financial – HAYSTACKID provides the ever-popular hot dogs for the event, puts a team of runners in the race and, of course, flies the giant hot air balloon it is known for displaying at Grant Park on Race Day,” said CVLS Director of Communications Matthew Pollock. “For years the company has been one of the top contributors to Chicago Volunteer Legal Services’ annual 5k run/walk for equal justice. All proceeds of Race Judicata® go directly to CVLS and our mission to coordinate, support, and promote the voluntary pro bono legal representation of the Chicago area’s poor and working poor. Supporters like HAYSTACKID make this mission possible, and make Chicago a better place.”

Last year, nearly 2,100 attorneys volunteered to serve just under 10,000 low-income families in Chicago, doing so without any charge to the beneficiaries of the service. Race Judicata® is among the most important drivers of funds to make these types of critical activities possible, raising $175,000 in 2016. The race also saw 4,800 participants running and walking along the lake front in support of CVLS.

“This is a truly incredible event, and one that we are proud to be a part of year-in and year-out,” HAYSTACKID Executive Vice President Eric Singer explained. “CVLS is a very important organization in the Chicago area, and it will always have an ally in HAYSTACKID. We look forward to the race, where we know we will see thousands of local attorneys supporting this vital local cause.”

Individuals interested in participating in this event have until September 8th to register online through the CVLS website.

As a Medalist Sponsor, HAYSTACKID is committed to helping CVLS achieve its goal of making this year’s Race Judicata® the most successful one yet.
