FCPX LUT HDR gives users a new way of creating HDR footage. Editors can add intense color grades and dynamic gradient overlays to any media. A LUT is a Lookup Table that contains a mathematical formula for modifying an image. The LUT changes every pixel’s color to the corresponding color indicated by the table. FCPX LUT HDR includes 60 different CUBE LUT files, which can be combined other included effects.

Final Cut Pro X users can add more than just look-up table color grades to each clip. Within the inspector are controls for adding film grain, gradient overlays, and much more. FCPX users have full control over effect opacities, blend modes, and more. Each effect is arranged in order of hierarchy, letting users to work their way down the list, completing the look.
