Endeavor Schools Opens First High School and Announces IB Candidacy in Georgia

We look forward to guiding our students to achieve new heights as we help prepare them for life after graduation.

Endeavor Schools is proud to announce the opening of its first high school, Montessori Academy at Sharon Spring’s High School, and the school’s candidacy for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. Still offering pre-primary through middle school, Montessori Academy at Sharon Springs will be Endeavor Schools’ first school to offer a high school education for students in grades 9 through 12.

“As an organization that is passionate about unleashing individual potential and seeing our students thrive, we are excited about this opportunity to expand our exceptional education to adolescents and young adults in the Cumming community,” said Ricardo Campo, President of Endeavor Schools. “We look forward to guiding our students to achieve new heights as we help prepare them for life after graduation.”

The high school program will provide opportunities for adolescents to be challenged academically, gain self-confidence and self-knowledge, learn to be adaptable, belong to a community, and create a vision for their personal future. Designed to empower adolescents, the high school curriculum is an integration of the current research in human development and the Montessori philosophy. Director of Montessori Academy at Sharon Springs Debbie Bradford and Adolescent Program Lead Guide Rus George both played key leadership roles in getting the high school on its feet.

“We are so proud of Montessori Academy at Sharon Springs for being accepted as a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, and would like to extend a special thanks to Carmen Serghi, the IB Coordinator, who worked tirelessly to ensure that this goal became a reality,” said Danielle Millman, Executive Vice President of Endeavor Schools. “This news couldn’t have come at a better time, with the onset of our first ever high school. We’re eager to see how this program will develop our students socially, emotionally, and cognitively.”

Montessori at Sharon Springs is a candidate school* for the Diploma Programme. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. IB World Schools share a common philosophy – a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education – that we believe is important for our students.

*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP), or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.
