Craig Mallinger, a father residing in Davenport, Iowa, who has taken many jobs while actively writing, has completed his new book “From the Inside, It Speaks for Itself”: a heartwarming poetry book that contains works with various themes, from one’s questions to the Lord that serve as praises to the inner struggle between the conscious and the subconscious.
Author Mallinger encourages readers to take heart in life’s uncertainties through his poem, “Never Give Up”:
“If the fire seems of distance
And the flames are not very high,
You sometimes want to hang your head
In a fearless moral sigh.
There’s a time for enjoyment,
And a time for suffering and pain.
But the one who tries the hardest
Is the one who gets the gain.
For it’s not what we’re after
But the attempt within itself.
It’s a world of logic and understanding.
It’s a blueprint to unfold.
It’s the door to your answers,
Whom someone’s never told.
Every moment to its fullest.
Every dollar to its place.
To our questions we hold the answers,
And most of the time, right on your face.
Remember everything you can.
We all have limitations, I know.
Just remember what you’re after,
Think hard, and let the mind flow.”
Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Craig Mallinger’s touching book shows his inner perceptions about the Lord, the people surrounding him, the events in his life, and the circumstances every being usually face. The concepts of love and life are also the major themes in Mallinger’s poems.
Readers who wish to experience this gripping work can purchase “From the Inside, It Speaks for Itself” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play, Kobo or Barnes and Noble.
