Xavier Jones, a graduate of the University of Connecticut, history buff, and passionate Francophile, has completed his new book “The Resolution is Revolution”: a rousing compilation of writings rejecting apathy in the face of persistent problems around the world.
Jones shares, “New Year’s Day, 2015. I walk around vacant downtown Toulouse, thinking about the tradition/convention known as New Year’s resolutions. I’ve never been one to make them because I admit I would have a hard time keeping them. Then I began thinking of the state of our world and how desperately things need to change. There is no more room for gradualism! We are in a global state of emergency! We have the motives and the means. We must now take the risks to reap the rewards. We are faced with a plethora of problems that require solutions. We will only achieve those solutions with a resolution, and ‘The resolution is… REVOLUTION!’”
Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Xavier Jones’s provocative collection of philosophical musings offer perspective on a variety of issues inherent in humanity and modern society.
Readers who wish to experience this philosophical work can purchase “The Resolution is Revolution” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Kobo, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
