All Year Cooling, a family-owned South Florida air conditioner installation and repair company made a donation to a classroom at Village Elementary School in Sunrise, FL. The donation to the class will provide a variety of learning materials to students to provide supplementary learning that expose the students to real-life scenarios that emphasize the importance of math in their daily lives.
The hands-on math activities provided to the students, ranging from grades PreK-2, include a variety of multi-step math games that will help students to solve complex problems, find errors and reinforce conceptual understanding. The resources are designed to challenge the students’ critical thinking skills and furthermore promote more than just a general understanding, but a conceptual grasp they can use elsewhere.
“Students will be exposed to real-life scenarios that show them the importance of math in their daily lives,” said Ms. Ryder-Hill, the Village Elementary school teacher. In regards to All Year Cooling’s donation, “You helped to show my students that kindness still does exist in this world and that there are so many people who believe in them and their education. Your support means the world to us!”
Every student will get a chance to access the various interactive learning math games in order to maintain motivation and keep students excited to learn the necessary concepts for success. To learn more about the donation, visit the All Year Cooling website.
